So, now that you have signed the Agreement of Purchase and Sale you think your builder has lost interest in you. You have outstanding deficiencies, your new home looks much smaller than you thought, the flooring is definitly the wrong colour, and it goes on and on. Tip # 1, don’t threaten your builder with legal action. Talk to them first. Your builder will fix anything that is warranted, and they will replace your flooring if it is indeed the wrong colour. They will even explain about the questionable square footage. Your builder wants to work with you, not against you. Believe me, talking with your builder’s representatives will work.
