The true answer, YES. But, should that be your only goal? NO. My philosophy is, when you do your job with integrity, work hard, be that go to person, build up a steady clientele, money will be a natural result. People want to work with companies, agencies, people who they can trust, they want to believe that their best interests and needs are being met. If you can achieve this rapport with your clients, word of mouth is your best advertising. What could be better than to enjoy what you do, have a solid reputation, be known as a company or person who truly cares, and to make money doing it? My philosophy may sound sappy and a throw back to the 50’s way of thinking, but I don’t believe you need to step on toes, be ruthless, or self centred to make money.
