Saturday morning I went to a grand opening of new homes to introduce myself to the people standing in line waiting for the sales office to open. It was quite cold and very windy, but these people wanted to have first crack at the houses being offered for sale.
This is the perfect venue for me to meet potential purchasers, introduce myself and to let them know how my company can be of service to them. Most people are very receptive and want to know more. Some think I work with the builder, which I immediately clarify that I do not. I inform them that my company is independant, and that I not only educate purchasers on all aspects of the After Sales Service, but I am also an advocate for them as well.
I am hoping that builders will understand the value of my services because once I have consulted with my clients, they become savvy purchasers and work so much better with their builders. Just think, purchasers/homeowners working in harmony with their builder. What an amazing concept.
