Keep Christmas in Mind When Purchasing Your New Home.

With the holidays just around the corner, one tip that is very important when you are buying a new house from a builder is, add extra exterior electrical outlets near the soffits. These outlets are so important if you plan on displaying Christmas lights.  If you do not request these exterior plugs, you will be running extension cords from your garage for your Christmas lights, which doesn’t look very nice, nor is it very practical.

This is just an example of the little things to think about when you are buying your new home.  If there are certain items that are important to you, write them down before meeting with your builder’s sales team, and try to negotiate them into your Agreement of Purchase and Sale.  Make sure you are totally prepared when sitting down with your builder, because so many things will slip your mind due to the excitement and anxiety while you are discussing the extras that you will need to make your house the perfect home for you.

So if you celebrate Christmas, keep it in mind when you are purchasing your new house, so that you can make sure your home will be lit up when celebrating the holiday season.
